We are excited to announce the release of our new Control4 driver developed in partnership with Chowmain Software. This driver is available to download for free.
The latest update deepens the integration of the A.6 and Control4. You can now see all the metadata from songs initiated on the VSSL A.6 in Control4. There is also improved matrixing control from within Control4. Before this update, matrixing was only available in Control4 if the zone input was analog. Now users can matrix analog inputs and any VSSL initiated music stream.
VSSL continues to pioneer the industry on with its Native Streaming and tight integration with Google Home. This driver is also the best way to integrate 2 way feedback with Chromecast built-in.
Devin Davies, Chief Revenue Officer of VSSL, says “We are finding that home owners really resonate with being able to use the music apps they already know and love. What users love about VSSL and Control4, is that homeowners get the best of both worlds. They can use the Control4 music or their own Amazon Music app for example.”
“VSSL is especially popular with the younger members of the home, who just want to use Spotify, Apple Music, or Pandora in there rooms without getting into the Control4 app. They don’t have to turn it on in the room first, it is already available natively in the device list of the music app,” notes Dan Allen, President of VSSL.
